We’ve been providing HR services and support to businesses locally in Salisbury and across the UK for 15 years.
As HR experts, our job is to make your life easier – giving you peace of mind that you’re meeting your legal obligations as an employer and doing the right thing by your employees.

Meet the team
Our team comes from a variety of HR and business backgrounds – bringing wide-ranging HR experience on everything from employment law through to sickness absence and disciplinary matters.
Managing Director
Dan
After a career across a variety of industries, including hospitality, professional services and distribution, Dan founded Access2 Human Resources in 2010 after recognising that small businesses needed more commercial, practical HR support.
He has held senior management and HR Director roles, and holds a Level 7 Postgraduate qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Outside of the business, Dan enjoys travelling and exploring new places around the world.
HR Services Director
Tracey
Tracey has over 15 years’ experience in HR and has been part of the Access2 Human Resources team since 2017. Starting as an HR Advisor, she progressed to HR Services Manager and now HR Services Director.
CIPD Level 5 qualified, she has worked across a range of industries including manufacturing, education and pharmaceuticals. Tracey now leads our HR team, supporting clients with everything from day-to-day people matters to more complex issues like redundancy and TUPE.
Outside of work, she enjoys long walks with her dogs and spending time in the garden.
HR Services Team Leader
Laura Jayne
Laura Jayne, known across the office as LJ, is the HR Services Team Leader who joined Access2 Human Resources in February 2024.
She specialises in complex casework, including TUPE, redundancy and sensitive employee relations matters. LJ works closely with clients of all sizes, providing clear, practical advice and confident support through challenging situations. She is highly regarded for her professional yet bubbly approach, building strong relationships with clients while handling demanding cases.
Outside of work, LJ lives on a farm in Hampshire with her partner and two dogs and enjoys exploring the countryside. She is currently expecting her first baby in September 2026!
Senior HR Advisor
Melissa
Melissa joined Access2 Human Resources in 2021 as an HR Administrator and has since progressed to Senior HR Advisor.
She holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies with Human Resource Management and is CIPD Level 5 qualified. Melissa supports clients with day-to-day HR matters and takes ownership of operational tasks, helping ensure everything runs smoothly.
Outside of work, Melissa is busy bringing up her toddler, Otis, and enjoys walks with her cockapoo.
HR Administrator
Kate
Kate brings a wide range of experience from previous roles including Team Manager, Technical Support Manager and Facilities Manager, most recently working as a Senior Quality Administrator in the pharmaceutical industry.
At Access2 Human Resources, Kate is the go-to for all things admin. From managing BreatheHR accounts and preparing documentation to organising schedules, producing reports and improving processes. If she doesn’t already know how to do something, give her five minutes and she’ll figure it out.
Outside of work, Kate is kept on her toes by her family of four and furry friends, ensuring there’s never a dull moment.
Systems and Process Developer
James
James is the Systems and Process Developer at Access2 Human Resources and is currently completing a Level 4 Project Management apprenticeship.
His role focuses on improving, systemising and automating internal processes, helping the business operate more efficiently and consistently. James works across different areas of the organisation to streamline systems and support ongoing improvements.
Outside of work, he enjoys writing music and playing lead guitar with his band, as well as going to the gym and developing his cooking skills.
Finance Director
Mel
Mel is the Finance Director at Access2 Human Resources, bringing experience from a range of industries including hospitality, design, and teaching with nearly 20 years in finance.
Through her varied career, she has developed a strong understanding of the importance of excellent customer service, providing clear and timely communication and ensuring clients feel informed and supported.
Mel plays a key role in overseeing the financial side of the business, helping to keep everything running smoothly.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, walking her dogs, and has a passion for musicals and dancing, from the jive to the cha cha cha.
